Shooting Shack
Your Friendly Neighborhood Gun Store
Our Story
Founded in Durban, Shooting Shack was built with a passion for firearms, responsible shooting, and creating a safe environment where both beginners and experienced shooters can feel welcome. What started as a vision to provide a professional indoor shooting experience has grown into one of Durban’s trusted destinations for firearm enthusiasts, training, and recreational shooting.
Located in Sea Cow Lake, Durban, Shooting Shack combines a modern indoor shooting range with a fully equipped gun shop, offering customers access to quality firearms, ammunition, accessories, and expert guidance under one roof. From first-time visitors looking for an exciting introduction to shooting, to sport shooters and self-defence firearm owners sharpening their skills, our facility is designed to accommodate every level of experience.
At the heart of Shooting Shack is a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer experience. Every session is guided by trained staff who ensure that all guests feel confident, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit. Our indoor range is equipped to provide a controlled, clean, and secure environment where customers can enjoy shooting experiences, professional training, and firearm competency courses with peace of mind.
Over the years, Shooting Shack has become more than just a range — it has become a community hub for firearm enthusiasts across KwaZulu-Natal. Whether it’s hosting team-building events, private experiences, training sessions, or helping customers choose the right firearm and gear, we pride ourselves on delivering personal service and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Today, Shooting Shack continues to grow while staying true to its core values: safety, excellence, education, and passion for the shooting sports industry. Our mission is simple — to provide Durban with a world-class indoor shooting experience that is professional, approachable, and unforgettable.
